My experiences using technology do not go farther than my cellphone and laptop. I use my cellphone daily to talk, text, and surf the web along with other activities. My laptop is used for the same reasons. When I was in elementary school my school had a system set up to where students would read books and then take a quiz on a computer to monitor their reading progress. In high school I was also able to use computers to do research for projects and class work. Other than that I do not have much experience with technology in my every day life or school life.
While taking this course I hope to learn more about the role technology plays in the education process. I want to know the most beneficial ways to use technology in classrooms for future knowledge. I think it is important to know the effects of things like technology in school settings so that students can be better educated.
Something I learned about my learning style is that I am both active and reflective when it comes to working on projects and assignments. I am also more of a visual learner than a verbal which I agree with. It is easier for me to understand terms and concepts if I can see a visual representation for them.

  1. Good job!

I think most of us are most familiar with our cellphone and laptop. We will work together to achieve your learning goals. :)
